Marketing Co-Ordinator

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help deliver high-impact marketing campaigns across multiple channels. You’ll be part of a fast-paced creative team responsible for bringing campaigns to life and supporting local branches with marketing that drives awareness, footfall and sales.
This role is perfect for someone who is organised, creative and confident managing multiple projects from concept to completion, with an understanding of digital marketing and social media.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate and deliver national and local marketing campaigns across print, digital, email, social and in-branch channels, targeting both tradespeople and homeowners.
- Lead marketing strategy for a category, creating campaigns and driving growth through market insights and collaboration.
- Work closely with branches to support their local marketing activity, providing guidance, templates and creative ideas to help them promote their business effectively.
- Work with digital marketing and social media teams to rollout campaigns digitally, creating engaging content.
- Liaise with supplier partners to ensure their brands are represented within MKM campaigns and manage associated budgets.

- Write compelling copy for digital ads, social posts, emails and printed collateral that suits MKM’s tone of voice.
- Plan and produce printed brochures working with product procurement teams.
- Track campaign performance, collate results and share insights to inform future activity.
- Utilise customer data, branch feedback and previous campaigns to identify opportunities.
- Assist with new branch launches, website updates and other marketing projects as required.
- Use your marketing experience and knowledge to mentor and support team members and branch staff.
Skills & Experience
- Min 3 years’ experience in a marketing, communications or campaign coordination role is essential.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and content best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Confident multitasker with strong organisational and project management abilities – able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders at the same time.

- Enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about marketing.
- Understanding of project management, analytics, creative and social editing tools is advantageous.
Other
- Travel to branches and other locations will be required which may involve overnight stays.
- A full UK driving license is preferable.
- This role is predominantly office based on Stoneferry Road, Hull with flexible hybrid working once settled.
