Credit Controller

In this role you will manage a portfolio of customers within a Credit Control environment and manage these within the KPI controls. This role is working 40 hours per week in our Hull office. Paying National Minimum Wage.
Responsibilities and Duties
To take complete ownership of workload, working from daily work list to control the outstanding debt from customers
Build relationships with customers and branch directors and their teams to facilitate swift resolution.
To ensure that the status and notes on all accounts are kept up to date.
Prepare written correspondence as necessary regarding customer accounts.
Control customer accounts as necessary to ensure customer is working within credit limits, dealing with overtrading and maintaining stop dates.
Ensure that customer queries are rectified and resolved as quickly as possible to ensure prompt payment of debt.
Provide support and advice to MKM branches regarding customer accounts and outstanding queries.
To meet and exceed targets set when required.
Any other tasks as directed, which are reasonable within the scope of the role.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in a similar role
Computer literate with a high attention to details
Be both assertive and tenacious whilst also flexible in their approach
Be a team player who is a good communicator, at all levels
Excellent Customer Service skills
Good knowledge of Credit Control
