Main Purpose

Working as part of a small team providing all round administrative support to all areas of the accounts function including banking, purchase ledger and credit control. Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within the various accounting timeframes.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Daily banking of cheques

• Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming post on a daily basis

• Setting up new customer credit accounts accurately and in a timely manner

• Credit checking customers where required

• Maintaining accurate records of customer account information and updates

• Completion of Pre-Qualification Questionnaires

• Undertaking any other ad hoc administrative tasks as required by the branches and Credit Services

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Experience of handling fast flowing workload efficiently and effectively

• Accuracy and attention to detail

• Strong numeric ability

• IT literate

• Good communication and customer service skills
